The wait for 22nd installment will end after the budget
The biggest question in the minds of farmers is what will be the date of the 22nd installment? Although no official date has been announced yet by the government, but if we look at the pattern of the last few years, the situation becomes clear to a great extent. Last year, during the same time period, i.e. on 24 February 2025, the 19th installment was released from Bhagalpur, Bihar.
This year, on February 1, 2026, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is going to present the general budget of the country. Experts believe that due to the busy budget session, the possibility of releasing the installment before February 1 is very less. In such a situation, speculations are being made that after the presentation of the budget, i.e. in the second or third week of February, the government may gift the 22nd installment to the farmers. This time is also important for the farmers in terms of harvesting of Rabi crops and preparations for Kharif.
Money should not get stuck anywhere, check your status within minutes
Many times it has been seen that due to technical glitches or lack of documents, despite the installment being released, the money does not reach the account. Therefore, it is wise to check your status beforehand. For this you do not need to go anywhere.
You go to the official website of PM Kisan pmkisan.gov.in. There on the homepage you will get the option of Farmer Corner, where click on ‘Know Your Status’. Enter your registration number and captcha code given on the screen. After this, an OTP will come on your registered mobile number, once entered, the complete status will open in front of you. If everything is correct here, your 22nd installment will arrive without any hindrance.
How to see your name in the complete list of village
If you want to see which people in your village are getting the benefits of this scheme, then this process is also very easy. You will get the option of Beneficiary List in the ‘Farmers Corner’ of the portal itself. After clicking on this, you will have to select your state, district, tehsil, block and village. As soon as you click on ‘Get Report’, the complete list of all the beneficiary farmers of your village will be on your screen. Your name being in this list confirms that you are an eligible farmer in the records of the government.
