PM Kisan 22nd Installment: 22nd installment can come in the account from this date, will the money of these farmers get stuck?

Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana

Crores of farmers associated with the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana are now waiting for the 22nd installment. Like every time, this time also the eyes of the farmers are fixed on one question. When will the money come? Talking about the current indications, the government can transfer Rs 2,000 to the accounts of farmers before Holi. It is believed that this installment may be released in the first or second week of February 2026. Some reports also mention a date around 11 February 2026, although the final date has not been officially confirmed yet.

PM Kisan Yojana is an important scheme of the Central Government, under which Rs 6,000 is given every year to eligible farmer families. This amount is not given at once, but in three installments of Rs 2,000 each. The money reaches the farmers’ bank accounts directly through DBT i.e. Direct Benefit Transfer. With this scheme, farmers can easily meet their farming expenses and important household chores.

These farmers cannot get the 22nd installment

Not every farmer gets the benefit of this scheme. The government has kept some farmers in the exclusion category. If a farmer has purchased land after February 1, 2019, his installment can be stopped. Apart from this, if both husband and wife of the same family or more than one adult member of the family are taking the benefit of PM Kisan, then in such cases also the payment may get stuck. The government conducts physical verification in such cases. Until this investigation is completed, the installment is temporarily stopped. Many times money gets stopped due to discrepancy in information related to Aadhaar, bank account or land.
