PM Kisan 21st Installment Date: Good news is about to come for crores of farmers. A big update has come out regarding the 21st installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana). Soon an amount of Rs 2,000 is going to be transferred to the farmers’ accounts. The Central Government has asked the State Governments to complete the work of e-KYC, Aadhaar linking and land verification quickly, so that eligible farmers can get the money on time. Under this scheme, which was started in February 2019, till now more than Rs 3.90 lakh crore has been sent to the accounts of farmers. In this, every year an assistance of Rs 6,000 is given to the farmers in three installments. Rs 2,000 are transferred every four months.
How many farmers will get the 21st installment of PM Kisan?
This time more than 9.35 crore farmers across the country are waiting for the next installment of PM Kisan Yojana. Among these, the maximum beneficiaries are from Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan and West Bengal. There are 2.29 crore farmers in UP. Apart from this, there are 92 lakh farmers in Maharashtra, 83 lakh in Madhya Pradesh, 73.65 lakh in Bihar, 71.79 lakh in Rajasthan and 44.78 lakh in West Bengal. Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has said that instructions have been given to all the states to complete the work of e-KYC and Aadhaar seeding soon, so that the money can reach the accounts of the farmers before December.
When can the 21st installment of PM Kisan come?
According to media reports, if the verified list is received from all the states on time, then the 21st installment can be released in the last week of November or beginning of December. Meaning, if you have completed e-KYC and Aadhaar linking, then Rs 2,000 will soon come to your account.
Can the 21st installment get stuck for those without e-KYC?
The Agriculture Ministry has made it clear that farmers who have not done e-KYC will not get money into their accounts this time. Actually, investigation has revealed that about 31 lakh fake beneficiaries were taking advantage of the scheme. In these, both husband and wife were getting money or the money was also going into the accounts of minor children of the family. Therefore, if you have not done e-KYC, then do it immediately. Otherwise the installment will not reach your account.
How to do e-KYC of PM Kisan?
- Visit PM Kisan’s website https://pmkisan.gov.in.
- Click on e-KYC option on the homepage.
- Enter your Aadhaar number and captcha code.
- Enter the mobile number linked to Aadhaar and click on Get OTP.
- Fill the OTP received on mobile and submit.
- Information about your e-KYC being successful will be immediately visible on the screen.
