Uttar Pradesh PM Awas Yojana: In Uttar Pradesh, PM Awas Yojana has created new records due to the vision and fast working style of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. While it takes an average of 299 days to build a housing at the national level, UP has proved its proficiency by standing home in just 195 days.

Under the target from 2016-17 to 2024-25, Uttar Pradesh was to build 36.57 lakh houses. Out of this, 36.34 lakh houses have been completed so far. The work of the rest of the houses is also going on fast. It is clear that the state government is not only meeting the target but is also achieving it before the scheduled time.

Uttar Pradesh ranks second at the national level with 99.37% achievement in the progress of the scheme. The first place is Sikkim, but its target was only 1399 houses. The state government has also linked the houses being built with basic facilities. Under the conversion, 99.39% of the houses have been provided toilets, electricity connection in 93.31%, LPG connection in 94.42% and drinking water connection in 80.02%.
