Mantra to please fathers

In Hinduism, the deep importance of Pitrupaksha, Shraddha, Tarpan, Water Offer and Pind Donation has been told. It is believed that at this time ancestors from Pitra Lok come to earth and expect reverence and tarpan from their descendants. The scriptures say that by pleasing the soul of the ancestors, the child gets longevity, learning and prosperity, while disgruntled Pitra can bring obstacles and tribulations in the family. This is the reason that Pitra Mantras and Donation have special significance in Pitrupaksha.

Shraddha and Pitrupaksha have special significance in Hinduism. It is believed that in this period, Pitra comes to the earth and expects Tarpan from his descendants. The right way to offer water

To please the ancestors, at the time of sunrise, water should be offered by facing towards the south direction. For this, water should be mixed with Ganga water, black sesame, flower and a little milk in copper lotus. While offering water, keep chanting ॐ Pitrudevaya Namah.

Mantras that satisfy fathers

There are some special mantras mentioned in the scriptures, which are considered very auspicious to chant in Pitrupaksha –

Om Pitrubhaya: Swadha Namah

Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevaya Pitrubhyo Swadha

Om Sri Pitrudevatabhya: Namah

By chanting these mantras 108 times daily, the ancestors are happy and bless them.

Rules

Take a sattvic diet in Pitrupaksha and avoid tamasic food.

Do food and donation to Brahmins and the poor.

Avoid harsh words, anger and abusive words.

On the day of Shraddha, the use of meat, liquor and onion-garlic in the house is considered taboo.

Giving grain and water to birds and cows is also an auspicious task to please the ancestors.
