Before going on safari, know that there is often a problem of vehicles arriving late, which tourists often complain about. He says that jeeps or canters reach the hotel late for safari. Let us tell you that the allotment of jeep and canter for safari is done by the Forest Department while issuing the boarding pass. The Forest Department decides through a roster system which vehicle and which guide has to take which tourist. These boarding passes are issued on the day of safari only, in which the vehicle number and the name of the guide are also written. After getting the boarding pass, the driver or guide has to meet different tourists.
What is the reason for the vehicle arriving late?
The forest department issues boarding passes for 20 seats for a canter and 6 seats for a jeep. Usually, there are more passengers in a canter and they are staying in different hotels, hence it takes time for the driver to pick the tourists from all the hotels, due to which sometimes they reach the last hotel late. Pickup from roadside hotels is quick, but it takes more time to reach hotels located inside or towards the village. Apart from this, sometimes due to the Forest Department server being down, there is a delay in issuing the boarding pass. But let us tell you that those who have booked a private jeep or canter do not face any such problem.
