PKL 2025: Schedule, venue, squads, live streaming winners list – all you need to know

New Delhi: The wait is over for the new edition of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), with some new and competitive changes to the league. Season 12 action will commence on August 29, Friday at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium.

PKL returns to the four-city caravan format, allowing fans to cheer for their favourite team from the ground. Vizag, Jaipur, Chennai, and Delhi will host the PKL 12 matches. Telugu Titans and Tamil Thalaivas will battle out in the season’s opener match on the National Sports Day.

New changes in PKL 12

The league stage matches have also gone to 108 matches compared to last season’s 132 games. There will be no tie matches in the tournament as the five-raid shoot introduced in the league stage as well followed by the Golden Raid.

The new point system also reshaped the PKL, as now the loser will not get any points, and a win will count as two points to the tally to simplify the points table for the fans.

The top eight teams will qualify for the postseason, as new Play-In matches were added in the tournament to ensure teams will remain in playoff contention for a longer period of time in the tournament.
