The schedule for the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) season 12 was announced by the organisers on Thursday, July 31, amidst massive anticipation for the return of the marquee event. The 12th edition of the PKL will begin on August 29, with the blockbuster clash between Telugu Titans and Tamil Thalaivas in Vizag at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium. Four venues, including Vizag, Jaipur, Chennai, and Delhi, are returning to host the PKL matches.
The 2025 campaign will witness 12 teams battle for ultimate glory.
The tournament will kick off on Friday, with Titans facing Thalaivas in the opener before Bengaluru Bulls locking horns with Puneri Paltan in the second clash of the day.
On Saturday, August 30, hosts Titans will once again be in action, facing off UP Yoddhas for the first match of the evening, before U Mumba clashing with the Gujarat Giants.

On Super Sunday, Thalaivas and U Mumba lock horns before the reigning champions Haryana Steelers begin their title defence against the Bengal Warriorz, wrapping up a thrilling opening three days of kabaddi action.
PKL set for blockbuster 12th season
Vizag returns as the host after a seven-year hiatus, after witnessing the excitement of PKL action during the sixth season in 2018.
The next stage of PKL will shift to Jaipur’s Indoor Hall, SMS Stadium, from Friday, September 12, featuring mouthwatering clashes between two-time champions Jaipur Pink Panthers and Bengaluru Bulls, followed by a thrilling encounter between Tamil Thalaivas and Bengal Warriorz. The Pink City returns to host the marquee event two seasons after staging the historic 1000th PKL match during Season 10 in 2023-24.
The third leg kicks off at Chennai’s SDAT Multipurpose Indoor Stadium on September 29 with the clash between UP Yoddhas and Gujarat Giants. In the second match of the day, Dabang Delhi K.C. take on Haryana Steelers in a fixture that will see Naveen Kumar face off against his former side.
The league stage of Season 12 will reach its climax at Delhi’s Thyagaraj Sports Complex from October 13, with Patna Pirates locking horns with Haryana Steelers. Meanwhile, U Mumba will take on UP Yoddhas in the second match of the day. The league rounds will culminate with triple headers, giving the fans nonstop thrills heading into the playoff stage of the competition.
