New Delhi: Telugu Titans bagged their first win in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 12 after beating Jaipur Pink Panthers 37-32 in the first match on Thursday. The Titans lost their opener against UP Yoddhas last week, but bounced back to winning ways on Saturday with a clinical performance against Jaipur Pink Panthers at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad.
Skipper Vijay Malik and raider Bharat Hooda starred for the Titans as they bagged eight points each to power their team to their first win of the season. Defender Ajit Pawar also produced an impressive performance as he bagged a high-five in the game and led the Titans’ defence well against a well-oiled Jaipur raiding unit.
For Jaipur Pink Panthers, raider Nitin Kumar Dhankar was the standout performer as he grabbed 12 points in the match. However, his efforts went in vain as Titans claimed victory in the end.
