PKL 12 points table: Dabang Delhi extend winning run, Jaipur Pink Panthers down Gujarat Giants

New Delhi: Dabang Delhi kept their winning streak going as they thrashed Bengal Warriors 45-34 in Vizag. With this victory, they now sit at the top of the points table with eight points. It was a complete power-packed performance from Ashu Malik and his men, as the star raider scored 16 points to register their fourth straight win of the season.

Alongside Ashu, Neeraj Narwal also delivered for Dabang Delhi as he produced a multi-point raid to take the Bengal defence off the mat. From Bengal’s end, Devank Dalal once again produced a remarkable performance, scoring his fourth straight Super 10 of Season 12, but he could not find a way to guide his team to victory. The PKL Season 8 winners wrapped up the match with an 11-point cushion.

In the second fixture, Jaipur Pink Panthers edged Gujarat Giants in dramatic fashion, pulling off their second tie-breaker win of the season at the Vishwanadh Sports Club in Vizag. The contest swung both ways with Gujarat leading early through Rakesh Sungroya’s Super Raid before Nitin Kumar responded with one of his own to keep Jaipur level. The Panthers then seized control after an All Out but Gujarat fought back late, with Rakesh completing his Super 10 to force a 30-30 deadlock.

The tie-breaker was equally intense, with both teams trading blows before Shadloui’s tackle briefly gave Gujarat the edge. But Jaipur rallied strongly, and in the decisive moment, it was Nitin Kumar who held his nerve, finishing with 15 points to seal a thrilling and memorable win for the two-time champions. Jaipur Pink Panthers are now sitting in the sixth spot in standings while Gujarat Giants are at last second spot.
