New Delhi: It was yet another action-packed day in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2025 as Bengal Warriorz and Tamil Thalaivas secured wins in their respective matches. Bengal Warriorz sparked a brilliant turnaround to beat UP Yoddhas 41-37 in a close encounter, before Tamil Thalaivas thrashed Bengaluru Bulls 35-29 to continue their winning run in the tournament.
In the first match of the day, Bengal Warriorz earned a crucial victory against the Yoddhas to snap their 4-match losing streak in the Pro Kabaddi League 12. Devank Dalal and Ashish Singh starred in Bengal Warriorz’s victory. While Dalal bagged his sixth consecutive Super 10, Ashish got a High Five to help their side beat the Yoddhas.
UP Yoddhas started the game well and were defensively solid in the first ten minutes. They consistently stopped raids from the Bengal Warriorz to gain early control in the game and inflict an All Out to extend their lead to 10-4. However, Warriorz fought back to reduce the gap as the half-time approached. Nonetheless, UP Yoddhas led 18-13 at the break.
However, in the second half, Bengal Warriorz started strongly to reduce the deficit. Their attackers then stepped up as the Warriorz managed to clinch a 41-37 victory in the end to end their losing streak in the tournament.
