Pujan Vidhi of Pitrupaksha Shraddha (Pujan Vidhi)
- On this day, get up early in the morning and take a bath and wear light colored clothes.
- Clean the place of worship by spraying Ganga water and lighting the lamp.
- Lay clean clothes at a checkpoint and apply tilak in the name of ancestors on it.
- Sit facing south direction,
- Tribe with black sesame, barley, kusha and water.
- During the tarpan, chant ॐ Pitrubhaya: Namah Mantra.
- Prepare a body (body donation) made of rice, milk, and sesame and offer them to the ancestors.
- Offer water, sesame, and flowers while chanting the names and gotra of the ancestors.
