In the year 2025, the last Shraddha of Pitru Paksha will be performed on the day of Sarvapitra Amavasya on 21 September.

Two dates and method of pindadan
- On this day, wear clean and light colored clothes by bathing in the morning.
- Clean Ganga water to the place of worship of the house and sit facing south direction.
- Make separate resolutions for two dates.
- Include the name, gotra, and death date of the ancestors of both dates in the resolution.
- Mix Ganges water, black sesame, barley, and milk in copper pots.
- Offer water three times for each date.
- Make a body by mixing rice, barley, black sesame, and ghee. Prepare separate bodies for each date ancestors.
- Create separate bodies for the ancestors of both dates on two dates.
- Place the bodies on the seat of Kush and anoint with Ganga water, milk, and sesame.
- Offer bodies towards the south direction and ask for blessings from the ancestors.
- After the pindadan, immerse the bodies in the holy river or place it under the peepal tree.
- Serve the food on banana leaves or leaves and offer it to the ancestors.
- Provide food to Brahmins. Invite different Brahmins for the ancestors of both dates.
- Donate Dakshina, clothes, and fruits to the Brahmin.
