Shraddha in Hinduism is considered necessary for everyone. It is believed that during Shraddha Paksha, Pitra comes to the earth and expects pindadan etc. from his descendants. The person who does this blesses him and those who do not do tarpan etc., the ancestors get angry with him. According to religious texts, people who do not perform Shraddha of their ancestors find Pitra dosha, due to which there are many problems in their lives.
