How do you get out of the body?
According to Garuda Purana, if a person who is about to die, he does not say anything even if it wants. He starts seeing Yamdoots but he is unable to talk to the people around him. Yamdoots would take the soul out of his body, which leads to immediate death. This soul is thumb shaped. The Yamdoots hold the soul and take them to Yamlok. On the way, the Yamdoots are also intimidated by telling the soul about the punishment in hell.

How far is Yamlok?
The distance from Earth to Yamlok is 99 thousand plans. On reaching Yamalok, the soul comes to his house again on the orders of Yamraj. Here she tries to enter her body again but cannot do tax. The soul cries due to hunger and thirst. At that time, the soul is not satisfied even after eating the pindadan etc.
In how many days does the soul reach Yamlok?
For 12 days, the soul stays at its home and is satisfied with the pindadan made by his family. After this, the 13th Yamdoot again captures that soul and takes Yamlok. On the way, the soul also has to cross the river of hot sand and blood. In this way, the same soul, suffering from hunger and thirst, reaches Yamlok after running continuously for 47 days. Here Yamraj gives him the fruits of his good and bad deeds.
