Daayra is just a couple of days away from its theatrical release. Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Meghna Gulzar, the film stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran. It follows the two actors as police officers on opposite sides of a case, each fighting for justice in their own way. Inspired by several true events, Daayra will release in theatres on September 18.
Ahead of the release, Meghna Gulzar, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran travelled to Delhi for a press conference, where they interacted with the media and students.
For the event, Kareena opted for a beautiful pink saree featuring floral patterns. She wore her hair in a bun adorned with flowers and completed her look with blush-toned makeup, smoky eyes and light lips.
Sharing photos from the event, Kareena wrote, “The bravest will be seated on 18th September… Slow burn but a sure burn… Daayra arrives in cinemas this Friday.”
