The impact of a slight fall in crude oil prices in the global market was also seen on India’s retail market. Government oil companies released fresh petrol-diesel rates at 6 am. In some cities, prices have become cheap and somewhere have become expensive. Before leaving the house, check the prices of petrol and diesel once.
According to the data of government companies, petrol in Noida was cheaper by 18 paise to Rs 94.75 per liter and diesel by 19 paise to Rs 87.78 per liter. But, in Ghaziabad, petrol rose by 19 paise to Rs 94.64 and diesel increased by 21 paise to Rs 87.41 per liter. Petrol in Patna, the capital of Bihar, increased by 28 paise to Rs 105.43 and diesel by 27 paise to Rs 91.69 per liter. At the same time, there was no change in the rates of petrol and diesel in big metros like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata today.

Crude oil price
In the last 24 hours, the price of crude oil came down slightly. Brent crude is trading at $ 69.01 per barrel and WTI at $ 66.76 per barrel. This decline is due to the demand and supply game in the global market.
Why do rates change?
Every morning at 6 o’clock, new rates of petrol and diesel are updated. In this, the prices of excise duty, dealer commission, VAT and other charges are almost double from the original price. This is the reason why petrol and diesel seems so expensive. Crude oil prices and value of rupee also affect these rates in the global market. If crude is cheaper, then some cities can get relief, but due to taxes, full benefit is not available.
