Petal Gehlot Un Response Pakistan: Petal Gehlot, who emerged as India’s voice in the United Nations, grabbed the attention of the whole world by giving a sharp and strong reply to Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. Petal Gehlot completely rejected Pakistan’s false claims using India’s rights in UNGA. He challenged the statement of the Pakistani Prime Minister on the issue of operation vermilion and terrorism and made it clear that India would not leave any agreement in terms of its security and national interests.
Who is Petal Gehlot?
Petal Gehlot is an experienced Indian diplomat. He has gained deep expertise in political science, international relations and translations. In July 2023, he took over as the first secretary in the United Nations and was appointed as an advisor in September 2024. Gehlot earlier worked as Under Secretary in the European West Division and was also posted in India’s missions in Paris and San Francisco.

What was the spicy message of Gehlot?
Gehlot accused Pakistan in the UN of being engaged in saving terrorists and spreading lies. He also reminded that during Operation Sindoor, the Pakistani Army had requested to end the war with India after the attack on its bases. He said, “If the destroyed runways and burnt hangers look like victory, Pakistan can enjoy it.”
Accusation on Pakistan and India’s stance
Petal Gehlot accused Pakistan of exporting terrorism and highlighted the incidents of saving terrorist groups such as the Resistance Front (TRF). He insisted that all issues with Pakistan should be resolved bilaterally, so that no third party gets a place in it. In addition, he challenged the call for the conversation of Pakistan PM and said that the terrorist camps should be destroyed first and handed over to the desired terrorists.
