Eflu Lucknow Campus: Yogi government has transferred 2.3239 hectares of land for the construction of permanent campus of English and Foreign Language University in Lucknow. This land is given to the university on an annual lease of only ₹ 1.

Lucknow News: The Yogi government has transferred 2.3239 hectares of land for the Lucknow campus of English and Foreign Language University, Hyderabad (Central University) to promote quality education of English and foreign languages. This land is located in village Chakouli, Pargana Bijnor, Tehsil Sarojini Nagar, District Lucknow and the university has been given only one rupee per year lease.

Courses of different languages will be conducted

BA in permanent campus (Hons) English, MA English, MA Linguistics, MA English literature, PGDTE and Ph.D. Such as regular programs as well as part-time courses of French, German, Russian and Spanish languages will also be conducted. Currently the university is temporarily operating at RTTC Complex, Kanpur Road, Lucknow.

Commitment to give youth global opportunities

At the land transfer ceremony, Chief Guest Higher Education Minister Yogendra Upadhyay said that the Yogi government is committed to providing global linguistic education to the youth of the state. He expressed confidence that the construction of a permanent campus would increase the quality and facilities of education unprecedented. University Vice Chancellor Prof. N. Nagaraju thanked the Government of Uttar Pradesh, saying that this land transfer is a historic step for long -term development of the institute and the Lucknow campus will be made an excellent center of linguistic education and research.
