People Say Amber Heard Is Thriving After One of Hollywood’s Biggest Backlashes in New Pics

After the world followed along with the Amber Heard and  trial in 2022, it’s no surprise that the actress has been living a more low-key life ever since. It couldn’t have been easy for her to walk into that courtroom every day, especially with all of the backlash that came her way from fans who were staunchly on

But a few years have passed since then, and it sounds like people might be changing their mind about Amber, if the reaction to her newest photos is any indication.

Amber shared a post celebrating that she completed her first race.

Amber is beaming as she grins at the camera. Wearing a matching purple Nike set and a running bib, her hair is pulled back off of her face. “First race glow,” she wrote in her caption.

This is the first photo that Amber has shared directly to her Instagram feed since her Thanksgiving post in November, and it looks like she’s doing really well, and her fans who commented on the post definitely took notice.

“So many women all over the world feel for you and are happy to see you smiling and thriving,” one of her followers wrote. “Wish you all the best.”

People are proud of how far Amber has come.

Most people were absolutely not on Amber’s side during the trial, but it seems like the tide may be finally turning in Amber’s favor now. One discussion of her post on  was incredibly positive, with many fans sharing how happy they are to see her so happy after everything she’s been through.

“Love to see a woman thriving after the world tried to destroy her,” one Redditor wrote.

Another person who commented on the thread said, “This is so cool. Poor woman had her whole divorce in public and now she’s thriving without Johnny Depp and the world just trying to destroy her life. People deserve to move on from their worst moments and I’m indifferent about her in general, but it’s nice to see someone shed that weight and stress of life.”

Earlier this year, she spoke about the trial.

In the documentary Silenced, which screened at the Sundance Film Festival in January, Amber opened up about just   for her and how far she’s come since then, after it made her feel like she never wanted to speak publicly again at first.

“It gives me strength seeing other people take on the fight,” she said in the documentary. “Women brave enough to address the imbalance of power. Looking at my daughter’s face as she grows up and slowly starts to walk into this world… I believe it can be better.”
