Pedro Acosta arrived in MotoGP last year and has since been working with one of the most experienced crew chiefs – Paul Trevathan, who has also been with KTM for several years.
And the relationship between the rider and the engineer could hardly be better. The Spaniard gave an interview to Australian Motorcycle News, where he shared:
– Paul isn’t just an engineer with a computer. I really love how he manages all the crew, how he manages my head, how he manages everything around me and how we’ve made our group super-close, so it’s not possible to put shit between us.
Despite his talent and being recognized for the quality of his feedback, Acosta admitted that the technical aspect is not his strong suit: ‘I’m not really a technical rider. I just like to get on the bike and go flat-out and that’s it!’.
