Ram Charan is gearing up for his much-awaited sports action drama ‘Peddi’, directed by Buchi Babu Sana of ‘Uppena’ fame. While the film is still months away from its release, cinematographer Rathnavelu shared fresh updates about its progress.
Half of the shoot completed
Speaking to Gulte Rathnavelu, he confirmed that nearly half of the filming is already completed. “Peddi is shaping up really well. Almost 50% of the movie is over now. Ram Charan has done a great job in the film, even taking a makeover for it,” he said.
Ram Charan’s new style and accent
For the role, the ‘RRR’ star has undergone a complete physical transformation. He has bulked up and kept a rugged beard look with a nose ring.
He also shared that his style and accent in the film are different from those in other projects. Praising the director, he said, “Babu Sana has written it really well, and the storyline is also really good. I am also trying to shoot it differently, standing aside from regular scripts.”
