Peddi Box Office Day 7: Film Crosses Rs 187 Cr, But Shows Drop

Buchi Babu Sana’s “Peddi,” starring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, was released in theatres on June 4 after paid premieres on June 3.

The film arrived amid high expectations and opened to mixed reviews, but it managed to perform well during its opening weekend.

However, as the film entered the weekdays, its collections started showing signs of slowing down.

On Day 7, “Peddi” collected Rs 7.55 crore net in India across 7,535 shows. This marks a 22.2 percent drop from Tuesday’s net collection of Rs 9.70 crore.

With this, the film’s total India net collection has reached Rs 187.25 crore, while its India gross stands at Rs 222.53 crore.

Overseas, “Peddi” collected Rs 0.80 crore on Day 7, taking its total overseas gross to Rs 48.80 crore. The film’s worldwide gross collection has now reached Rs 271.33 crore.

Despite the weekday slowdown, “Peddi” continues to post strong overall numbers. The coming days will be crucial to see whether the film can regain momentum during the second weekend.

“Peddi” is a sports action drama written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana. It is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, co-produced by Ishan Saksena under IVY Entertainment, and presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings.
