Pawan Kalyan Reveals His Initial Fears About Hari Hara Veer Mallu: ‘Burden Of Finance Brings Down.’

Pawan Kalyan’s much-awaited Telugu movie Hari Hara Veer Mallu has released in theatres today. The action adventure drama went on floors in 2020 and has faced several delays.

The films’ postponement further escalated because producer AM Rathnam’s previous dues, which were worth Rs 3 crore. A complaint was lodged against the producer with the Telangana State Film Chamber of Commerce, citing pending payments related to his previous films. The chamber then requested to help facilitate the recovery of the dues before the movie’s release.

When the movie’s release was delayed, Pawan Kalyan had some fears of Hari Hara Veer Mallu getting shelved. He emphasised that the movie took 5 years to complete. The actor turned politician also shared that all the matters regarding finance have been resolved. In an interview with News18, Pawan said, “All dues have been cleared. Financial woes and other logistical issues will be there (when it comes to any big film) but everything has been resolved. More than the finances, it was about technical aspect such as special effects that took a toll on all of us. We announced the release of the film but then we again got delayed by a month-and-a-half.”

 

 

Kalyan also shared that it’s a sign of relief as the movie is getting released, as he had fears of the film being shelved. He added, “It took five years for the film to finish. It gives me a sense of great relief. It feels like a weight has been taken off my chest. If my film will be shelved or even get made – I had those fears without a doubt. The burden of finance truly brings down a film. Plus, I had to grow my hair and keep it that way even though I don’t like long hair. I had to be constantly alert as to when they may suddenly call me.”

Hari Hara Veer Mallu also features Nidhhi Agerwal, Nargis Fakhri, Nora Fatehi, Sonakshi Sinha, Pujita Ponnada, Bobby Deol, Arjun Rampal and Dalip Tahil in key roles. It has been directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, Jyothi Krishna. The movie has been backed by AM Rathnam, A Dayakar Rao, and Vipin Agnihotri. It has a runtime of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
