This date will end on December 20, 2025 at 7:12 am. According to Udayatithi, the last Amavasya of the year i.e. Paush Amavasya will be on 19th December.
What to do on Paush Amavasya?
The day of Paush Amavasya is considered especially auspicious for offering prayers to ancestors and freedom from negative energy. Donating on this day is also very important. Paush Amavasya will be the last Amavasya of the year 2025. One should take bath in the holy river on this day. Tarpan should be offered to the ancestors. Lord Vishnu and Shiva should be worshipped. Donation and lamp should be donated. Good results are obtained from these works.
What not to do on Amavasya day
