Haridwar: In a recent study conducted by Patanjali Research Institute, the Ayurvedic formulation “Divya Swasari Vati” has been found effective in managing various respiratory ailments including asthma, bronchitis, chronic cough, and congestion. The herbal medicine is also believed to support lung health, improve immunity, and help in cleansing the respiratory tract.
As pollution, allergies and viral infections become increasingly common, respiratory issues are on the rise. While allopathic treatments offer fast relief, their potential side effects have driven many patients toward Ayurvedic alternatives. According to Patanjali, Divya Swasari Vati works as a natural bronchodilator, improving airflow in the lungs and offering symptomatic relief from respiratory discomfort.
The formulation
The formulation contains a potent blend of traditional herbs such as mulethi (licorice), kakdasingi, sonth (dry ginger), dalchini (cinnamon), and mineral preparations like sphatika bhasma and adrak bhasma. These ingredients are known in Ayurveda for their anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, and mucolytic properties.
How it shall be used
For best results, it is advised to consume one or two tablets of Divya Swasari Vati twice daily, once on empty stomach in the morning and again before dinner with lukewarm water. However, dosage should be as per individual health conditions and under medical supervision.
The medicine also aids in boosting immunity and potentially reduces the risk of any recurrent infection. Despite being an Ayurvedic product with minimal side effects, some individuals may experience mild gastrointestinal discomfort, nausea, or allergic reactions.
Experts emphasize that while Ayurvedic are generally considered to be safe, they should still be used with caution and professional consultation.
