Passenger Smoking Flight: An incident happened in the Air India Express flight coming from Bangalore to Jaipur, which worried all the passengers. In this Sunday evening flight, a person was caught smoking a cigarette in the toilet. When he was stopped, he refused to follow the rules. The flight crew took immediate action and after landing he was handed over to the police.
What happened in the flight?
Flight number IX-2986 was going from Bengaluru to Jaipur. The flight reached Jaipur at around 5.30 pm. During this time suddenly smoke was seen coming out of the toilet. The cabin crew were immediately alerted. Upon investigation, a passenger was found smoking a cigarette inside. When the cabin crew stopped him, he refused to cooperate.

As soon as the flight reached Jaipur, the Air India Express security team handed over the CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) passenger to the airport police. Now the police is interrogating him. Statements of the airline staff have also been recorded. The airline is now going to send a preliminary report of this incident to DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation). If any negligence is found in the investigation, action is also possible against the airline staff.
