Bengaluru: Residents of Bengaluru should brace for temporary electricity disruptions this week as the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) carries out extensive maintenance work across several city districts. The scheduled outages are expected to last for nearly 7 hours, between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM, aimed at upgrading the city’s power infrastructure and ensuring a more reliable electricity supply in the long term.
Today, on Thursday, September 25, BESCOM will extend maintenance operations to several parts of the city, including BTM Layout, Sahakarnagar, and Jayanagar. Key residential and institutional areas, as well as hospitals, may experience temporary disruptions during this period. Residents are advised to plan and make necessary arrangements to cope with these scheduled interruptions.
