Delhi is once again waiting for rain, as it was in the early days of monsoon, after an increase in maximum temperature and humidity has resulted in unbearable weather conditions. Intermittent rainfall appears to pause in the National Capital and neighbouring districts.
Delhi woke up to bright sunshine on Thursday morning, bringing with it a surge in temperatures. The mercury at Safdarjung Observatory, the standard weather monitoring station in the capital, soared to 35.8 degrees Celsius, 1.9 degrees above the normal maximum temperature.
Delhi-NCR Weather Today: Cloudy Skies, Humid Days
According to the weather bulletin released by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on the evening of Thursday, the national capital will witness a partly cloudy sky with the possibility of thunder development towards the evening on Friday.

Districts of NCR, like Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad, and Faridabad, are bracing for a similar weather pattern as the weather department anticipates cloudy sky and thundry development toward the evening in all four cities.
Delhi-NCR Weather Forecast: Thundershower In Noida, Gurugram
The national capital of India is expected to receive spells of light to moderate rainfall and thundershowers with cloudy skies on Saturday. A similar weather pattern is to follow on August 10 and 11.
NCR districts, including Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad, are likely to witness light to very light rainfall with thundershowers on Saturday.

Over the past 24 hours, cities in the National Capital Region (NCR) including Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, Faridabad, and Greater Noida have experienced maximum temperatures ranging from 35°C to 36°C. This trend is expected to continue for the next 2-3 days, with residents of Delhi-NCR likely to face the heat.
