What is the condition of Iran’s currency?
In the open market, 1 US dollar has reached around 14,55,000 to 14,57,000 Iranian Rial. Such a weak currency means imports have become expensive, everyday items are being sold for thousands and lakhs of riyals. The purchasing power of common people is continuously decreasing. Meanwhile, the inflation rate has also reached 50 to 70 percent. This means that the goods which used to be cheap earlier, are now becoming out of the budget of the common man.
