Eco tourism facilities are being developed in Kukrail forest area of Lucknow. Nature walk trail, children park and bamboo hut are being built for tourists. Besides, other facilities like cafeteria and parking will also start soon.
Lucknow, 27 December. Tourism activities are being developed under the guidance of CM Yogi Adityanath in Kukrail forest area located in Indiranagar, Lucknow. On one hand, the Forest and Tourism Department is developing the Kukrail Night Safari in the Kukrail forest area, along with the UP Eco Tourism Board is also developing facilities for tourists in the area around the Night Safari. In this sequence, UP Eco Tourism Board is developing Children Park, Bamboo Round Hut with Play Station, Nature Walk Trail, Open Gym and Cafeteria for children. Besides, parking and toilets are also being constructed for the convenience of tourists.

According to the vision of CM Yogi, Kukrail Night Safari is being constructed for the development of tourism activities in the state capital Lucknow. Also, UP Eco Tourism Board is developing facilities for the tourists visiting the crocodile, gharial and tortoise sanctuary in Kukrail forest area. Additional Director of UP Eco Tourism Board, Pushp Kumar, said that the board is developing tourism facilities in Kukrail forest area at a cost of Rs 2 crore. Which will provide a pleasant experience to the tourists visiting the sanctuaries and night safari of Kukrail forest area. He told that in this sequence the board is constructing a children park and play station for the children in Kukrail forest area. Where adventurous games, swings and open gym will also be installed for children.
Construction of bamboo round hut and nature walk trail will be completed soon.
Additional Director of the Board said that keeping in mind the natural conservation, round huts are being made from bamboo to enable the tourists to enjoy nature. Besides, Nature Walk Trail is also being developed, where tourists will be able to enjoy natural activities near trees, plants and birds in the area around Kukrail River. Apart from this, cafeteria, toilet and parking are also being constructed in the forest area for the convenience of tourists. He informed that construction work has started, which will be completed soon. Tourists coming to Kukrail forest area in the initial months of the new year will get the benefit of these facilities. While these activities will develop eco-tourism on one hand, it will also increase revenue and employment of local people.
