Mumbai: Parivartini Ekadashi is regarded as one of the most important fasting days in Hinduism. Observing this vrat is believed to absolve devotees of past sins and bless them with prosperity and spiritual fulfilment. Importance of Parivartini Ekadashi
On Parivartini Ekadashi, devotees worship Lord Vishnu in his Vamana avatar along with Goddess Lakshmi. This Ekadashi is also known by other names such as Parshva Ekadashi, Padma Ekadashi, and Jayanti Ekadashi. Observing this vrat is considered highly auspicious as it invites the divine blessings of Lord Vishnu, helps destroy accumulated sins, and fulfils heartfelt desires of the devotees.
