Actor-singer Parineeti Chopra has delighted fans with the release of her new devotional song, Namami Shamisham, revealing that she recorded the track during her pregnancy with her son, Neer.
The actress shared that the song holds a special place in her heart, as it reminds her of a deeply personal and memorable phase of her life filled with faith, gratitude and reflection.
Parineeti released the devotional track on her YouTube channel on Monday and announced its arrival through a heartfelt social media post.
Explaining the inspiration behind the song, she wrote, “There are some prayers that become memories forever, and Namami Shamisham is one of them. I recorded this during my pregnancy, a phase that brought me closer to faith, reflection and gratitude. Every time I listen to it, I’m reminded of that beautiful chapter of my life.”
Expressing her excitement about finally sharing the song with her audience, she added, “I’m so happy to finally share it with all of you. Out now on YouTube and all music platforms. Har Har Mahadev… Love, Parineeti Chopra.”
The devotional number has been sung by Parineeti herself, while the music has been composed by Fresh Lime Studios.
The track has been directed by Tanishq Seth, with background vocals provided by Jai Yadav.
The song has been jointly produced and arranged by Jai Yadav, Metalpump, Tanishq Seth and Sparsh Gupta.
Over the years, Parineeti has showcased her musical abilities through several popular tracks.
