After a bright start in its first week, the film has slowed down in week two as it is now facing significant competition from new releases, like ‘Baaghi 4’, ‘The Bengal Files’ and ‘The Conjuring: Last Rites’.

Film sees a promising start then dipReleased on 2 August, ‘Param Sundari’ opened with solid numbers, pulling in Rs 7.25 crore on Day 1. The film then picked up pace over the weekend, with Rs 9.25 crore on Saturday and Rs 10.25 crore on Sunday, giving it a healthy start.
But after that high, the film started to slip from Monday, September 1, earning only Rs 3.25 crore—a sharp drop of nearly 68%. Although it bounced back a little on Tuesday with Rs 4.25 crore, the collections continued to slide through the week. By the end of its first week, ‘Param Sundari’ had made Rs 39.75 crore.
