The government has also started a campaign to make people aware not to burn stubble. Under this, Anganwadi workers are going from village to village and convincing people not to burn stubble and manage it properly.

Pension will not be restarted after closure

This is the first time that the government has decided to stop the pension of the families of those who burn stubble. According to media reports, once someone’s pension is stopped, it will not be started again. Due to the continuous efforts of the government, there has been some reduction in the cases of stubble burning this time, but the month of November is still there in which such cases usually increase. Information about stubble burning has been received through satellite in Nurmahal and Mehatpur areas of Jalandhar. On Tuesday, action has been initiated against one farmer from Nurmahal and two farmers from Mehatpur.
