These five elements are called Panchatattva or five great elements in the language of Vedas. From these the soul and body originate.
First the earth, then water, then fire, then air and finally sky. After these five elements, medicine is made from the earth. Then food is created from medicine, semen from food, semen from semen and the body is created from it. These five great elements are considered to have special importance in worldly life. This is how life continues on earth. The quantity of these elements is more in some organisms and less in others.

Earth
Even after death, a person’s body merges into these five elements. Even in God, five elements reside. Earth is the first element among the five elements. It is said that the physical body of a human being is formed from the earth itself, but life does not come into it until other elements are included in it.
Water
Water is the second element among the five great elements. Water is considered the most important part of human being. There is approximately 70 percent water present in the human body. Water is present in both human body and blood, that is why it is said that life is not possible without water.
fire
The third element among the five great elements is fire. Fire is believed to originate from water. Just as humans get energy from water, similarly fire is also present in the body in the form of energy. The body can move only because of fire. This element keeps the body healthy. It also provides strength and power.
Air
Air is the fourth element among the five great elements. Air is most important for life on earth. As long as there is vital air in the body, a person remains alive. Whatever life there is in the body is due to the air element. This is the reason why air is also called age.
Sky
Sky is the fifth element among the five great elements. Sky is the vehicle of the soul. The remaining four elements are present in this. It is considered most important for sadhana. The element of space has been physically called mind.
