Panasonic Launches LUMIX S1II and S1IIE Full-Frame Mirrorless Cameras in India

New Delhi: Panasonic Life Solutions India has launched their latest  LUMIX S1II and LUMIX S1IIE, the  latest additions to its Full-Frame mirrorless LUMIX S Series for professional photographers, filmmakers and content creators. According to the company statement these cameras will provide users exceptional image quality, dynamic colour reproduction, and advanced video capabilities for both still and motion content.

LUMIX S1II 

The LUMIX S1II is basically designed for Professional Photographers and Videographers, sited Panasonic. This camera comes with a 24.1MP full-frame partially stacked CMOS sensor along with Panasonic’s next-generation Venus Engine. It has video support of 5.1K 60p, 4K 120p, and 5.8K 60p. It comes with  high-fidelity color grading for cinematic video and  offers up to 15 stops of dynamic range in V-Log at frame rates below 30p.

For action and sports photography it comes with the feature of  blackout-free burst shooting at an impressive 70 frames per second using SH/SH PRE mode makes it the fastest in the LUMIX series. Although the open Gate recording is now extended to 5.1K 60p.

LUMIX S1IIE

The LUMIX S1IIE is just an upgraded version of LUMIX S1II for the Creators Seeking Professional Upgrade. This camera is a combination of ergonomic design and professional-grade imaging performance. Offering 24.2MP sensor inspired by the LUMIX S5II, supports 6K 30p open gate video recording and introduces a cinematic 2.4:1 aspect ratio available at multiple frame rates up to 60p without any cropping 

It provides 14 stops of dynamic range in V-Log. The camera features burst shooting up to 30 fps using the electronic shutter in SH/SH PRE mode and up to 10 fps with the mechanical shutter in H+ mode.

Expected price for the cameras

According to the release for Panasonic the  LUMIX S1II will be available at the starting price INR 3,29,990 and LUMIX S1IIE will be available at INR 2,69,990 at authorized dealers across India, and Panasonic’s direct-to-consumer (D2C) platform.
