However, on the other hand, Palmeiras will not be an easy hurdle. Abel Ferreira’s side are unbeaten in the tournament and have edged past Botafogo in the last 16, remaining in fine form domestically. Having faced European opposition only once in this tournament with a draw against Porto, Palmeiras will look to flip the script from 2022 with Ferreira eager to avenge that final defeat and continue their impressive Club World Cup journey.
