Youm-e-signalsal hypocrisy: Jammu and Kashmir Kashmiri Muslim social activist Javed Ahmed Baig has launched a scathing attack on Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. He called the YouM-e-signal (August 5) celebrated by Pakistan every year as hypocrisy and described it as part of the Pakistani propaganda which had been running for decades in the name of Kashmir issue. Javed Baig himself is a Kosur-speaking Kashmiri Muslim.
Javed Ahmed Baig, while addressing Pakistani PM Shahbaz Sharif, wrote on social media: Since 1947, Pakistan has been making Kashmir a tool of hatred. Pakistan has always made Kashmir a weapon of its security-based hate politics. His entire identity is based on spreading hatred against Hindus and India. He said that the existence of Pakistan was made on the basis of hatred from Hindus and a sense of jihad and Kashmir was forcibly fitted in this negative.

ISI and Pak Army also targeted
Baig alleged that the Pakistani Army and ISI used the Kashmir issue to occupy Pakistan’s democratic institutions. He said: He filled the hearts of Kashmiris and filled guns, poison and fanatic and ended our composite culture.
Pak-backed terrorists break Hindu-Muslim Kashmir
Javed Baig said that Pakistan through its supported terrorists and fundamentalists destroyed the unity between Kashmiri Pandits and Kashmiri Muslims. Pakistan ruined millions of lives by giving rise to religious extremism and violence in the valley.
Flood of drugs: poison in the valley from Afghanistan to Pakistan
Baig described drug epidemics in Kashmir as another conspiracy of Pakistan. He claimed that 13 lakh Kashmiri Muslims were under the grip of drug addiction in the valley. Of these, 5 lakh are women. 90% of drugs cross the LOC from Afghanistan to Pakistan and come to the valley.
Article 370 talk of change after removal
Beg said that after the removal of Article 370, the youth of the valley are now growing in the atmosphere of peace and progress. Today’s Kashmiri youth is connected to the mainstream of India – IT, Arts, Sports and Education.
Pakistan’s dictatorship on Pojk and Gilgit-Baltistan
Javed Baig also exposed human rights violations in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan (POGB). He said that Pakistan has made the people there second class citizens. Neither democracy, no voice – just exploitation and military raj.
