Pakistan Cricket Board has created a big problem for itself by messing with ICC and BCCI. Pakistan has decided not to play against India in the ICC T20 World Cup 2026, which may cause huge financial loss to it. Not only this, Pakistan’s domestic T20 league PSL can also be ruined. Meanwhile, a video of former Pakistan captain and former PCB Chief Rameez Raja is going viral on social media, in which he is telling how if the Indian PM makes a gesture then Pakistan cricket can be ruined.

Rameez Raja said in that video, ‘Pakistan board gets fifty percent funding from ICC. ICC organizes tournaments and distributes the profits from it among its board members. 90 percent of ICC’s funding comes from the Indian cricket market. In a way, Indian business houses are running Pakistan cricket. If tomorrow the Indian PM thinks that we will not give funding to Pakistan, then this cricket board can be destroyed. We have to stand on our feet. The dependence on BCCI should be reduced by percentage every year.
Ramiz Raza had said Pakistan Cricket team survives on ICC grants of which 90% is generated by BCCI. The Indian PM can finish Pakistan cricket easily.

Pakistan is asking for help
It is clear that if Pakistan boycotts the match against India, it will suffer severe financial loss, even its membership may be suspended. However, there are reports that Pakistan Cricket Board is seeking support from other cricket boards on this issue. Pakistani officials called officials of other cricket boards and sought support on this issue but all of them refused to support him on this. Now the question is what Pakistan does next. It seems that he will have to take a U-turn from his decision soon.
