New Delhi: At a time when Indian celebrities are approaching the Delhi High Court to protect their personality rights, a Pakistan-based label, Wajayesha Official, used AI (Artificial Intelligence) edited photos of actress Alia Bhatt to promote its brand. Soon, the pictures went viral and eagle-eyed netizens didn’t take time to call out the brand for forging the actress’s pictures.

Recently, the Pakistan label Wajayesha Official shared a series of pictures of Alia Bhatt to promote their latest collection of silk suits. In the pictures, the actress is seen wearing different types of silk suits, featuring vibrant hues and colours. The caption on tyhe post reads, “Even Alia Bhatt likes our pure sheesha silk collection!! Colour can be customised, book your order now.”

Netizens call out Pakistani label
After the pictures went viral on social media, many social media users called out the Pakistani brand for forging Alia Bhatt’s pictures using AI (Artificial Intelligence). A person wrote, “alia bhatt ko pta ha brand shoot k bare (Does Alia Bhatt know about the brand shoot?)”. Another commented, “This is AI I will send this to her.” One more person expressed, “Omg this is illegal use of A.i @aliaabhatt.” One more user wrote, “This is fake ai cheap marketing.”
However, the brand remained unfazed by the backlash and stated, “Yes, you are right, but we have an original one.” When a user threatened of legal action, the brand strongly said, “No, she will not.”

While the pictures look seamless, the pictures were taken from -Alia’s silver-grey dress from L’Oréal Paris runway in Paris in 2024.
