‘Pakistani Army demolished 40 mosques’, serious allegation of Baloch leader Mir Yar. Pakistan Army Destroyed 40 Mosques In Balochistan Alleges Activist

Baloch leader Mir Yar Baloch has accused Pakistan of demolishing 40 mosques in Balochistan. This was in response to Pakistan’s allegations against India. Describing Pakistan as an oppressor of minorities, he said that it has no right to speak on this issue.

Pakistan: Mir Yar Baloch, a prominent leader and human rights activist of Balochistan, has made serious allegations against the Pakistan government. He said that Pakistan has demolished many mosques in the Balochistan province of the country. Mir Yar said this when Pakistan had alleged that India had defamed the mosques in Pakistan occupied Kashmir. In response to this he said that Pakistan Army has demolished about 40 mosques in Balochistan.

This comment of Mir Baloch has come in response to Pakistani criticism of the Indian government’s decision regarding mosques, imams and committees in Kashmir. Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry had said in a statement that interfering in religious matters is a serious violation of the fundamental right to religious freedom and belief. The Baloch leader condemned Pakistan’s baseless allegation and said that Pakistan is a terrorist state and is involved in harassing Hindus, Sikhs, Christians and other minorities.

He said in a post on Twitter that the Republic of Balochistan fully supports India’s principled stand on Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. When the Pakistan Army uses fundamentalists to suppress and intimidate Hindus and other minorities, it has no right to speak on minority rights.

Mir Baloch said that Pakistan has destroyed about 40 mosques in the Republic of Balochistan. This also includes direct bombing of mosques, burning of Quran and kidnapping of the head of the mosque.

Balochistan is a south-western province of Pakistan that shares its border with Iran. It is rich in minerals, but is undeveloped. The Baloch national movement is decades old, demanding self-rule, control over resources and complete independence. In May 2025, Baloch national leaders declared the independence of Balochistan from Pakistan.
