The performance of Pakistan women’s cricket team in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 has been very poor. Questions are being raised on the performance of this team which has not won a single match. Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has taken a tough stance towards reviewing the Pakistan women’s cricket team. Naqvi has ordered an investigation into team management and strategies, which could potentially include major changes. This decision has come when the team was expected to perform better in spin conditions, but it did not live up to the expectations. Let us tell you, the head of the women’s wing of Pakistan Cricket Board is Rafia Haider, who is a former deputy commissioner of Lahore and a professional bureaucrat, who has no experience of cricket.
Pakistan team has played 6 matches so far in this tournament, out of which it has lost 4 matches and 2 matches have been canceled due to rain. Bangladesh defeated Pakistan by 7 wickets in the opening match. At the same time, India defeated it by 88 runs. After this, Pakistan had to face defeat by Australia by 107 runs. Then the match against England was washed out due to rain, however, Pakistan had a big chance to win in this match. She was far ahead in the match. After England, the match played against New Zealand was also washed out due to rain, and then South Africa defeated them and eliminated them from the race for the semi-finals.

Former Pakistan captain Javeria Khan also criticized the team’s batting.
