Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif’s ‘BrahMos Missiles’ Admission: India Hit ‘Our’ Airbases – WATCH

Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has admitted that Indian Armed Forces successfully hit several key airbases on the other side of the border, and added that it was done before Islamabad could even prepare.

The other important admission that Sharif made was that India used the Brahmos missiles to hit targets in Pakistan. Speaking at an event in Azerbaijan, Sharif said Pakistani Armed Forces under the leadership of newly appointed Field Marshal Gen Asim Munir were prepared to hit India, but they were caught off guard.”On the night of May 9, we decided at 4:30 in the morning after prayers, that Pakistan Armed Forces, led very ably by our Field Marshal, to teach a lesson to our enemy,” Sharif is heard as saying.

“But before that hour reached, India again launched missile attacks, Brahmos and hit Pakistan’s various provinces, including the airport in Rawalpindi and other places,” the Pakistan Prime Minister said, confirming the stance New Delhi has maintained at the global front.India had hit nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) on the intervening night of May 6-7 under Operation Sindoor. The strikes were launched to avenge the killing of 26 tourists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam on April 22.However, Pakistan launched drones and missiles targeting Indian cities and military establishments, despite the fact that the Indian Armed Forces had precisely hit only the terrorist bases.India retaliated by neutralising the drones and missiles mid-air and later hit multiple critical airbases, including the Nur Khan airbase in Rawalpindi. White India has not confirmed if Brahmos was used to hit the targets, but multiple experts and reports have backed the claim. The recent admission of the Pakistan PM further confirms the success of India’s Operation Sindoor.

Pakistan PM Pushes For Talks

Speaking at the Pakistan-Turkiye-Azerbaijan Trilateral Summit, Shehbaz Sharif expressed his wish to engage in dialogue with India. This was the second such statement in the week when Sharif said he wanted “to resolve all disputes”.However, India has made it clear that it will only have a dialogue with Pakistan on the return of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and the issue of terrorism.”We must sit together and talk for the sake of peace. There are issues that demand immediate attention and must be addressed through dialogue,” Sharif was quoted as saying by the Dawn newspaper.”I have said in all humility that we want peace in the region and that requires talks on the table on issues which need urgent attention and amicable resolution, that is the issue of Kashmir according to the resolutions of the United Nations and the Security Council and as per the aspirations of the people of Kashmir,” he said.He also said that India’s decision to keep the Indus Water Treaty in abeyance is affecting Pakistan brutally, saying it is a lifeline for the people.
