According to Tolo News report, Pakistani Army conducted airstrikes in Argun and Barmal districts of Paktika province. A senior Taliban official told news agency AFP that Pakistan had bombed three places in Paktika province, breaking the ceasefire. Pakistan’s duplicity before peace talks

Ceasefire took place at 6 pm on 15 October

A 48-hour ceasefire came into effect between Pakistan and Afghanistan from 6 pm on Wednesday 15 October, which continued till Friday evening. Due to the implementation of ceasefire, the bloody conflict that had been going on since October 8 was stopped. However, now after the latest attack by Pakistan, the tension between the two countries has once again reached its peak.

7 Pakistani soldiers killed in suicide bomber attack

Earlier, on October 17, 7 Pakistani soldiers were killed while 13 were injured in a suicide attack near the Afghan border. The attack took place on a Pakistani military camp in North Waziristan. According to reports, a suicide bomber rammed a vehicle laden with explosives into the Khaddi military camp in Mir Ali. Along with this, two other people tried to attack the camp, but they were killed. Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the attack.
