Pakistan Army Fight With TTP: There has been a fierce battle between the army and the TTP rebels in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. 12 army personnel are reported to have been killed in two separate encounters. 35 rebels have been killed.
Encounter in Pakistan: 12 soldiers have died in two separate encounters in Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. In the shootout, 35 rebels of TTP (Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan) have been killed. TTP is a banned organization in Pakistan. According to ISPR, the terrorists killed include Afghan citizens.
ISPR said the campaign against TTP for four days
The Pakistani Army media branch ISPR (Inter Services Public Relations) said on Saturday that the campaign has been going on against TTP for the last 4 days. Security forces campaigned on the basis of intelligence in Bajaur district. During this, 22 TTP terrorists were killed in a fierce firing. Another encounter took place in South Waziristan district. In this, 13 TTP terrorists were killed and 12 soldiers died.
Afghan citizens are committing terrorist incidents in Pakistan
ISPR has reported that weapons and ammunition used by the terrorists have been recovered after the encounter. These terrorist incidents include Afghan citizens. ISPR said that Pakistan hopes that the Taliban government of Afghanistan will fulfill its responsibilities and will not allow its land to be used for terrorist activities against Islamabad.
ISPR said that a search operation is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorist in the area. Let us know that in November 2022, the ceasefire agreement with the government was ended by TTP. After this, terrorism related incidents have increased in Pakistan.
Pakistani army convoy attacked by ambush
According to the AFP report, terrorists ambushed the Pakistani army convoy in Southern Waziristan at around 4 am on Saturday. Due to this, at least 12 Pakistani soldiers were killed.
