Pakistan vs Sri Lanka, ODI Series: Pakistan has whitewashed Sri Lanka in the 3-match ODI series. Pakistan also won the third and last ODI of the series played in Rawalpindi on the evening of 16 November by 6 wickets. With this he captured the ODI series 3-0. The hero of Pakistan’s ODI series win was fast bowler Haris Rauf, who wreaked havoc and took 9 wickets.

Before winning the third ODI of the series against Sri Lanka by 6 wickets, Pakistan had won the first ODI by 6 runs and the second ODI by 8 wickets. Talking about the third and last ODI, the Sri Lankan team, batting first, could not even play the full 50 overs. The entire Sri Lankan team was all out after scoring only 211 runs in 45.2 overs. Pakistan got an easy target of 212 runs, which they chased by losing 4 wickets in 44.4 overs. Mohammad Rizwan once again emerged as the architect of Pakistan’s run chase, remaining unbeaten after scoring the maximum of 61 runs.
Haris Rauf became the hero by taking 9 wickets
Haris Rauf, who performed brilliantly with the ball and took 9 wickets, was chosen as the Player of the Series. He took these 9 wickets in the entire series. Haris Rauf took 4 wickets in the first ODI against Sri Lanka. Whereas in the second ODI he took 3 wickets. In the last and third ODI, Rauf took 2 wickets for 38 runs in 9 overs.
Reward 5 lakhs for 9 wickets
On being selected as Player of the Series, Haris Rauf also received a reward of 5 lakh Pakistani rupees, which is equivalent to 1.57 lakh rupees in Indian rupees.

Pakistan’s Haris Rauf was chosen as the Player of the Series for defeating Sri Lanka 3-0 in the ODI series. In the third and last ODI, the player of the match was Mohammad Wasim Jr., who took 3 wickets for 47 runs in 10 overs.
What next for Pakistan?
After winning the ODI series, Pakistan team will now play T20 tri-series, in which Sri Lanka will also be one of the remaining two teams. Apart from these two, the third team of the tri-series will be Zimbabwe.
