Pwd officer accident: On Sunday afternoon, there was a stir on the Jaipur-Delhi highway when the bike of Avinash Sharma (SE) Avinash Sharma (57 years) of the PWD department, returning at a high speed, collided with a bull. This collision was so severe that Avinash Sharma died on the spot. He was returning to Jaipur from Delhi and riding his high-end Harley Davidson bike. The accident took place near Daulatpura toll cross.
Who was Avinash Sharma, and what was his administrative stature?
Avinash Sharma was serving the post of Superintending Engineer in Jaipur City Circle and was a resident of Bapunagar Gandhi Nagar area. The special thing is that his brother Ajitabh Sharma is a senior IAS officer in the Government of Rajasthan and Secretary of the Department of Energy. On hearing the news of his death, a wave of mourning spread in the family, department and the entire administrative staff.

How did the accident happen? Was really coincidence or negligence responsible?
According to information received from eyewitnesses and police, when Avinash Sharma crossed the Daulatpura toll at around 12 noon and reached the highway, a bull suddenly came to the fore. Due to the high speed, they could not keep control and the bike collided with the animal directly. After the collision, the bike fell on the roadside and suffered serious injuries.
Passengers immediately informed the police. Police reached the spot and rushed him to SMS Hospital, but doctors declared him dead.
Why the fatal accident on the highway is not stopping?
This incident once again highlights the problem of stray animals on the highway of Rajasthan. This is not the first time a person’s life on the highway has lost due to stray animal. The question is why the administration has not wanted yet? Will the deaths of senior officials become a warning now?
On the untimely death of Avinash Sharma, mourning and resentment also appeared on social media. Many people demanded strict action from the state government and security measures to stop the animals on the highway.
