Team India and Mumbai Indians speedster Jasprit Bumrah’s wife Sanjana Ganesan sent a strong message over requesting privacy and stated how their son Angad is not a topic of entertainment for any of the media houses.
Ganesan, who was at the Wankhede Stadium for Mumbai Indians’ match on Sunday, said the couple tries their best to keep him away from social media, claiming how despicable is the internet.
Ganesan gave birth to their son during Asia Cup 2023, with Bumrah briefly flying back from Sri Lanka to India to be with his wife. Ganesan, who works as an ICC Presenter, was present with their son at the stands and was spotted walking out of the stadium as a footage was captured.

Taking to Instagram, Ganesan clarified that they were at the stadium only to support Bumrah and have no willingness to be in the news. The 33-year-old wrote:
“Our son is NOT a topic for your entertainment. Jasprit and I do everything in our power to keep Angad away from social media because the internet is a despicable, vile place to be and I completely understand the implications of bringing a child to a cricket stadium filled with cameras, but please understand that Angad and I were there to support Jasprit and nothing else. We have no interest in our son being viral Internet content or national news, with unneccessarily opinionated keyboard warriors deciding who Angad is, what his problem is, what his personality is, from 3 seconds of footage.”

Meanwhile, the Mumbai Indians produced an all-round performance, leaving the Super Giants dazed. Earlier in the game, Rishabh Pant had won the toss, with Ryan Rickelton (58) and Suryakumar Yadav (54) making half-centuries to propel their side to 215 in 20 overs.
Although the Super Giants got off to a decent start, they kept losing wickets regularly, making it harder to chase down the steep total put on the board. Rishabh Pant’s torrid run in IPL 2025 continued, falling for a single-figure score. Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult shared seven wickets between them to bowl LSG out for 161 in 20 overs.
