Orry has opened up about how he and actress Rubina Dilaik used humour and laughter to cope with the physical intensity and mental challenges they faced during their journey on ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 15’.
Sharing a post on Instagram, Orry addressed host Rohit Shetty while recalling the difficult stunts and high-pressure situations faced by the contestants.
“Amidst the physical intensity and mental challenges of those days, whether we were grappling buildings, fighting with snakes and cockroaches or drowning in pools, we always had to blow our own little escape bubbles,” he wrote.
Orry said that when the pressure became overwhelming, moments of comedy and humour became their “absolute lifeline”. He added that learning a quick dance or simply sharing a laugh helped them deal with the fear and intensity of the challenges.
The video featured Rubina dressed in a saree and addressing the camera while giving a Gen-Z dance lesson. She then performed dance moves alongside Orry, who followed her steps while adding his own style. The duo danced to Charli XCX’s trending song ‘Apple’.
The text accompanying the video read: “POV: You accidentally entered Rubina Dilaik’s Gen-Z dance class.”
The post offered a glimpse of the lighter moments shared by Orry and Rubina amid the demanding tasks and high-pressure situations on the stunt-based reality show.
Orry was eliminated from ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 15’ after sustaining an injury during a challenging stunt. His exit came in early September following a task during which he spoke about struggling to breathe and feeling extremely scared.
Rubina, meanwhile, is competing as a semi-finalist on the show. In a recent episode, she became emotional after completing a task and spoke about how motherhood had affected her confidence and physicality. She also discussed rebuilding herself and regaining her strength after becoming a mother.
